Entitled “Reflections Of A Bridge Blogger”, Roland Soong’s CNBloggercon speech wonderfully sums up the transition that’s happened, largely due to the Internet, in China over the past five years that he’s been writing EastSouthWestNorth. Unfortunately, due to a family emergency, attendees at the 2008 China Blogger Convention in Guangzhou last weekend were unable to hear what he had to say. Ryan came to China in the wee morning of 2005 as a way to get to Australia. He assumes there's still a visa waiting for him at the Sydney airport.

I am suprised that he is a Chinese writing blogs in English. If he didn’t say that in the first few lines of the speech, I thought he must’ve came from an English speaking country. It is a very good speech, he observed the internet media changing carefully and constantly reflexed his own thoughs. This is really good, as I know some bloggers are just very opinionated and never chang when the whole world is changing.
