That's the one. Xu Xian is played by a woman, who also plays Xu Xians' son later in the series. Sounds dicey, I know, but I think they got away with it - even in the scenes where they meet. It sparked my interest because I had recently visited Hangzhou, and the stone bridge at the north end of the lake factors into the legend. Great review, and welcome to Lost Laowai Jalal.
