Long-time China expat blogger Oli, of djod.co.uk, is taking on the task of becoming “the world’s first Blogstar” via a rather zany new webcast called (appropriately enough) Blogstar.tv.
The just released first episode, Window to the West, follows Oli on his search to secure more Chinese visitors to his blog. Anyone looking for seriousness need not watch, as the humorous hand-held video is anything but.
The playfully self-jibing webcast blends Shanghai expatry with a healthy dose of Web geekery and a decent amount of booze and girls. Check it out:

Ryan came to China in the wee morning of 2005 as a way to get to Australia. He assumes there's still a visa waiting for him at the Sydney airport. 
What a tool! I can’t think of anything else to say, let alone anything clever.
Whenever I need a reminder about what I DON’T miss of expat life in the big city, just put that video on. Yuk.
