I am a Chinese language teacher, and I like to translate songs with the purpose of helping people learn Chinese through my website. So, I would like to know what kind of songs you like. Thank you for taking the time reading this. Your answer will be greatly appreciated.

I'm a huge fan of the now defunct Canto-rock group from Hong Kong, Beyond. With regard to your translation wish it may not be of much help unless (like me) you want to learn Cantonese. Anyway, they have quite a wide range of songs from soppy ballads to good ol' hard rock. Their most famous song, 海阔天空, can be heard anywhere from being murdered at a local KTV or just being blurted out of a speaker outside a cheap clothes shop. Shame about the lead singer and his early death. 加油家驹!

As for 忐忑 that super crazy song, there is a seven year old girl who sang it, pretty cute video, must see.

Tan Te (忐忑) by Robert Zollitsch (sung by Gong Linna) is pretty great.
It's already become somewhat of an internet meme, but as with most songs that becomes internet memes, there's usually something oddly catchy about them. I actually heard a Beijing cabbie listening to it, so it's not just something to be laughed at.
Find some more info about the song (plus "translated lyrics") here.
In my opinion, 黄晓明 (Huang Xiaoming), is awesome for translating. You can go here http://www.downloadchinese.com/artists/huang-xiao-ming.html
for lyrics in pinyin and Chinese and also to download some songs. Hope this helps.
