Share Your China Media

To have your China-related media, or any media that you think deserves to be showcased here, simply follow the instructions below.

Photos

To have your photos displayed in both Lost Laowai's China Photos page, as well as on the site's sidebar, simply login to your Flickr account, and join the Lost Laowai flickr Group and add your photos to the pool.

Each week (give or take) we will choose one photo to showcase on the Lost Laowai blog, giving full-credit and a link back to the photographer's other works. With over 7,000 visitors a week, this is a great way to get some extra exposure for your works. Check the Photo of the Week category for a listing of past photos chosen.

Video

Sharing your video, or any video on the Internet, couldn't be easier. To have a China-related video displayed on our Videos of China page, all you need do is bookmark the video's YouTube address using the free popular social bookmarking service Del.icio.us, and tag it with "llwvideo".

Music

Found an awesome Chinese song you want to share with the rest of us laowai? Fantastic. Simply take the URL to the music file (mp3, wma, etc.) and bookmark it at the free popular social bookmarking service Del.icio.us, tagging it with "llwmusic". Shortly after it's been tagged at Del.icio.us, it will appear on our Chinese Music page.

Tip: Be sure to include a description when saving the del.icio.us bookmark, as this is also displayed.

Not sure where to find the MP3s? Check out Baidu's cool MP3 search feature.

Podcasts

Adding a single podcast to Lost Laowai's China Podcasts page works much the same way as sharing music (above). Simply take the URL to the podcast file (mp3, wma, etc.) and bookmark it at the free popular social bookmarking service Del.icio.us, tagging it with "llwpod". Shortly after it's been tagged at Del.icio.us, it will appear on our China Podcasts page.

Tip: Be sure to include a description when saving the del.icio.us bookmark, as this is also displayed.
