Chinese Practice will not teach you Chinese, it's a program meant to accompany your study at a school. When you come home from class, create new lesson and write down new words and phrases. First practise the last lesson, then open couple of most recent lessons, from time to time open and practise all lessons. Most are free, but some require a minimal fee for full use (as indicated). Note: Many of these add-ons require MS Windows to be setup to display Asian characters (Control Panel-->Regional/Language settings).

Adsotate Plug-in
Adsotrans.com has released this plugin that does on-click Chinese text annotation. Using it is as simple as pressing 'a' (adsotate) and then clicking on Chinese text anywhere in the browser. A small window will popup (or refresh) with the sentence annotated News in Chinese-style for pinyin and English. The script handles traditional and simplified Chinese. |
