I saw the following video about a month ago on Neocha EDGE and thought it was great but seem to have forgotten to share it here.
Directed by Beijing’s Central Academy of Fine Arts animation student Feng Wei, the short film takes a fun look at typical scenes from hutong life in Beijing.
While this was Feng Wei’s final piece for his undergraduate animation studies, the film has already been shown in quite a few domestic and foreign exhibitions including Hong Kong’s “Niubi Newbie Kids†Mixed Media Group Exhibition as well as Japan’s Kazuo Ohno Festival.
woa….i haven’t seen this kind of movie since 1995,it reminds me of my childwood(i am not sure if i used the right word,i mean the time i spend when i was a kid)
