Women of the World, an a cappella ensemble based in Boston, USA, will make its China debut in Shanghai on April 7.
Founded in 2008, the ensemble is made up of singers from Japan, Italy, India, and Haiti, among others. They try to promote world peace with their songs.
The ensemble has performed around the world in 27 languages and received support from renowned artists, including Grammy winner Bobby McFerrin. They were also nominated for Boston music awards, Independent music awards and were named champions of the 2014 Harmony Sweepstakes A Cappella Festival, a long-running vocal competition in the United States.
